Title: '90 Spec Steering Wheel Nut???
Post by: Jon16 on 17 January 2004, 12:17
Hi there. I'm palnning to replace my Momo Champion steering wheel (any offers?!) with a '91 Corrado one. Does anyone know the diameter of the nut that holds the steering wheel in place? (my biggest 20mm socket is too small). Also the corrado wheel (essentially the same as the 16v one but with leather rim) has a plastic plate that moves but doesn't appear to easily unclip (I don't want to break it) that would make screwing it on difficult - it is just behind the metal contact plate. Is this supposed to come off? Thanks all...
