Title: Hello all, just thought i`d introduce myself.

I`m buying a 1990 GTi to be used as a trackday car.

I`ve got a stripped out Mk2, 2.016V engine and loads of other stuff already done. The seller bought it as is and so doesnt know all that has been done to it. Hopefully i`ll be able to find out when I get the car next week.

I have been to the Nurburgring several times (i`ll be there 35 days this year), so thought it was time to get a dedicated car, rather than keep taking my Mazda6 2.3 Sport round.

Hope to be quite active on here, initially, I think i`ll be asking more than i`m answering...
