Cadwell 1st July possibly for me deffo interested in it.

Who's planning on entering this then and what class?
I'm planning to put my entry in next week and am gonna enter the 8V class, I've got a bright blue metalic Golf GTi 8V which I use for weekend and trackday use in standard form at the moment. Have a company van for work use, I'm gonna start my build around the 3rd week of January giving me around 5 months to get everything done, that may sound like alot of time but it will soon pass.

I've done a trackday before and would be interested in doing this sort of thing, but I know that as it's actually racing you need a special licence (as stated on their website and quoted below)
1. Drivers must be fully paid up valid membership card holding members of golfgtiracing.co.uk, be registered for the Series and hold a valid MSA National B (or higher grade) Race Licence or be a professional driver in possession of a valid Licence (featuring an E.U flag) & medical issued by the ASN of a member country of the European Union (E.2.21.4).
Does anybody know how to go about getting such a licence, where you get them and how much it costs?

This site has quite a bit of information on it. You can get packages with companies like Rallydrive etc.

This is the official MSA website link to driver training schools. :)
