I've got a factory fit phone prep, but don't know how to sort it for my Sony Ericsson 810i.
Any clues?
-
You need to order a cradle, for your phone. Then place cradle on phone prep and plug your phone in. Volia, I have the phone prep with my nokia 6230i cradle. Cost in the region of £100 approx.

Thanks for the tip
Where can I get a cradle (pls don't say the dealer ), are they specific to VW phone prep, and are they easy to fit?
-
Piece of cake to fit. I believe you can buy them from dealer or other sources.
It simply slides on, thats it. I am not sure about vw specific, as I own other cars with bluetooth phone prep factory. I'll take some pics of mine and put up to show you.
Also vw re a bot slow to update to all the new handsets.

Nice one mate - thanks
I have a Sony Ericsson W810i which has been around for a while now, so they must have the bits for it. :undecided:

I've had a look at that but they don't seem to have a cradle for the Sony Ericsson W810i

Why do you say that?
I did have an old MK4 R32 and I ahd and audi TT,audi S3 and a few other. I just like cars, next purcahse will be an RS4.

RS4...
I drive an RS4 too... in my dreams, but at least that way I can enjoy it and not have to worry about the steep insurance and fuel bills

Its the only car that I would seriously consider over a GTI or R32... Porsche's are nice but way over budget for me...

Porsche no chance, my gift to my self on my 30th birthday will be an Aston Vanquish. As for the RS4, the insurance for me will only cost £395 fully comp, so slightly cheaper then my Golf. As for fuel, again it's not too bad. I have always owned petrol guzzlers.
