Title: dash probs

My dash is playin games.
The indicator light keeps buzzing.It also stay on when the indicators are off. Tonight the wipers have been going by themselves.
I've been to the place who fitted the alarm and they say its a capacitor/transmitter on the dash.
Is this correct.

My car is 1992 Mk2 Golf GTI 16v.

sounds like a pinched wire coming off the stalks. I had my wipers go everything I activated the rear wiper. turned out something wasn't in the right place.
