Post by: Danr on 15 January 2004, 23:45
Just got out of work and noticed my exaust was now vertical instead of horizontal, on closer inspection there is a hook on one side which its hanging on and i couldnt see anythin on the other side its dark and wet i gettin on my hands and knees, if the hook is missing do i just replace that or do i need a new exhaust?  :'(

ohh mate same here.

On mine a few months ago, the hock that is welded under the car to hold the exhaust had rusted and broke off.

You might have to mig weld the hook back on under the car. Dont drive around like this for too long or your exhaust might crack or fall off.

Then again it could just be a hock has come loose ???

is your exhaust an aftermarket one? probably broke due to the weight, could even be the rubber hanger (hopefully)
