I would just go for a K&N panel filter, then drill out the front and the wing side of the air box  ;)

Calm Down, Calm Down, Calm Down now lads(Liverpool FC Supporter).

Ok I have a PiperCross induction kit fitted to my Digifant.  I can't compare it to another induction kit coz I brought the car with it on but it does make a decent noise.......its not a subtle noise but its not an annoying load sound either.  Decent tone and roar to it.  The induction kit is supposed to give u some xtra bhp(probably)....

jedi if yours is a later 16v with the longer airbox then just pull the resonater tube out of the base of the box, it slides out from the front - takes a bit of pulling though to get it out

the noise difference this makes alone is immense, i didnt even have to drill the box or anything

if its a long box with the intake pipe sticking out of the front of the box then thats it.

this is a pic of my engine bay, the airbox is a long box so to speak
