That would look ok if it wasnt for the testarossa style grills down the side!!!!

They aren't meant to be a rip off from a lambo, it is a updated version of the reiger gto kit, but just not endorsed by reiger as they only made them for the mk2. IIRC>
-

Hm, I was going to say all that stuff in the MK2 section is proper 80's/90's retro, I mean check out those square lights!
-
they look a bit like those oettinger front ends or what ever the are called :undecided:
-
there was a reiger style kit on a mk2 i spotted @ E38 this year and i actually quite liked it in a funny retro 80's kinda way (and i got the p!ss ripped outta me for admitting it), it just looked soooo different from everything else!!
that mk4 kit suck tho imo
-
Was that the red thing that the owner had spent about 15 grand on ? I saw it drive up on to the presentation ramp, laughed, shouted "CHAV!" and walked away shaking my head. The people sitting on the grass were making some interesting faces at it too
-
errr yeah that would be the one! :embarassed:
some bits of it sucked (like the rear lights) and i think chucking that sort of money at it is a little crazy but overall i did kinda like it! :embarassed:
-
Don't worry i loved it too, although the rear lights, and the wheels were gash. Reiger GTO is the shiznit.
-
I'm with Topher! really Naff!
Funny how noone said they liked it at E38? The consensus of opinion was it was SH!TE!
Now a few months later people are coming out of the closet!
Gaylords!
-
lol, like i said i did admit to liking it at E38 and subsequently got laughed at by most of the people i was with!
Although it is not personally something i would do to my own car i do still think its kinda cool and it was refreshing to see something so totally different to all the other cars there and that had been done well (it could have been so much worse had he not made such a good job of fitting the kit from what i saw)!
I seem to remember seeing some similar kits on scirocco's and corrado's in the past in kinda liked them too!
-
Well imo its wrong! Even those that so say like it have picked holes in parts (rear lights)
The guy was obviously going for an overall look and he failed!
Miserably!
-
you mean thisun!?
http://www.golfgti.co.uk/pageimages/e3806/23.jpg
i dont know what he is trying to achieve with them lights but the rest I dont mind to be honest
-
The lights are not part of the kit, why they are on there i do not know. That ruins the back end. When i saw it i said i loved the kit, just the lights, and wheels were not my cup of tea.
Other than that it is cool as f**k.
-
yeah thats exactly the one i was on about and i do still quite like it (even the wheels but definately not the rear lights!)
-
what do you reckon to a similar sort of look for my Rado?

If you got that you would be a legend. The raddos look awesome with the kit on.
-
Its makes it look like a renualt 5 turbo, but I've never been keen on body kits.

yeah it would be pretty cool but dont think i could ever afford to do it (poor underpaid overworked insurance person )
lol my drive is very narrow anyway, i dont think it would even fit with that kit on!!!!
