Title: oil light flashing and bleeping

Hi could anyone help me i have a 1.4 and when the engine gets hot the oil light starts flashing and bleeping the oil is allright and so is the pressure iv unblocked a breather pipe and fixed a rather bad leak does all this point to a faulty switch

this happened to my car in the summer, i was driving and the oil light started flashing and bleeping. had a look and it was the switch.

I put a new switch on and it is still doing the  same thing could this be a wiring fault  :sad:
