i disconnected it and my car wont even run  itll idle very shakilly at around 200 rpm then die.

then at least you know your ISV is working correctly

as the revs are meant to 'plummet' when its disconnected

is there any chance this is happened cause the engine is tired?  so i can stop trying to figure out what it is?

Screw out the idle bypass screw untill you get a idle of about 850-900 rpm (engine warm).
Then reconnect the icv and see how you get on.
