Title: MK2 GOLF BIG BUMPERS ON A MK1

Hi im just wondering if its possiable to put mk 2 golf gti big bumpers on a mk 1 golf? if this can be done is it a straight swap? if not what will i need to do and what materials/tools would i need

if anyone has any pictures of a mk 1 golf with mk 2 big bumpers on it i would be greatfull if you could post them up

Dont think its possible mate as im sure mk2's have wider front ends compared to mk1's. Someone feel free to correct me if im wrong?

I've seen this done in the past.

There used to be a mk 2 big bumper kit available specially for the mk 1 from R A Design but they went under  :sad:

Any good bodyshop should be able to get the mk 2 kit to fit though.  :smiley:
