Title: How much should I sell my MkV Gti for??

I need to sell my mark 5 Gti soon and wondered what sort of price I should ask for it Privately?
How much extra can I ask because of the leather and Sat Nav etc?
What price could I get selling to a trader?
Anyone looking for one?

I reckon you could try to start the private sale at £17k. And i would think a dealer should give at least £15k. Good luck with the sale  :smiley:

If you want to sell it to me then I would say around £100  :evil: :evil: :evil:

On a more serious note - unless you want to take up the above offer - I recently sold my 06 plate GTI for 17k although maybe it could have gone for £1k more if I had waited but I sold it in a bit of a rush.  My  car had the following spec:

·         Registered 25th April 2006
 
·        15,000 miles

·         UK Car – purchased from VW Wolsey

·         Black Pearlescent Paintwork

·         3-Doors

·         Highline Computer - much better than the standard midline computer

·         6 Speed Manual

·         18” Monza Alloys

it looks like that car cost about 24k when new. id say possibly 19k is what he should push for as there arent many of them.
