Grrrrrrrrrr!!!
So as most of you know i have planned to go away tomorrow evening for the weekend with my g/f.
Got the 16v all topped up on coolant and engine oil, wash and polished, hoovered, etc.
Took it out tonight and... BANG!! There goes my gearbox!
Gearbox oil sprayed everywhere under the bonnet and bits of metal hanging out of where you put the gearbox oil in  Strange thing is it still drives through the gears but accelerates like a kangeroo and the clutch slips!
Still i got the diesel golf to take but it is hardly a turn on turning up to the g/f's house all dressed up and in some cr@ppy old Diesel which has no heaters! Not impressed
