Hi ppl, just thought i'd say Hello
I currently own a 99 Mk4 1.8 GTI in Futura Yellow
With,, Leather Heated Recaros, Climate and the rest luxurys as Standard..
At the Age of 18 i would luv the 1.8 TURBO , but my insurance company would pull my pants down ...
So instead i just got a straight 1.8 20V..

Hello & welcome to the club!
I think you've chosen the best N/A GTi model, BTW!
Build up a couple of years no-claims with that (hopefully ), then move onto the Turbo!

Thanks fella's, The only thing is the car has Reached 130k miles , i knw but having only paid £2700 for it cant go wrong lol!
But i have dealer history upto 100k, which is good enough from my point, the car came with 4- Brandnew Goodyear tyres and Discs and pads..
Hey Ivor Mk4 Turbo, thats the reason why i chose a N/A, i previously used to own a Fiesta Rs turbo, awesome funn but serious deep holes burning through my pockets  :embarassed:
So i thought best to come out the Turbo scene for a bit and later on go for another Turbo
Quick question i wanted to ask you fella's, i heared if i was to put 18's on my car it would put lots of strain on the Drive shafts and wishbones, is that true ???
Also is it true the rear cup holders, centre arm rest, and climate is a Factory option on mines, obviously i encounter the RECAROS are??
