ok im guessing this will work well but ill ask just incase im wrong :p
ive got an old 3 metre 'ofc' rca cable in the shed i dont use as i have a better (more expensive!) one , so if i chop off the ends , split the cable into 2x1.5 metre lengths and combine the negative and positive connections (each wire has another inside due to it being an rca) this should make it more than suitable for the signal to small speakers?. i reckon it should given its for audio signals anyway :). opinions appretiated , (yes i could buy some but why waste this cable i figured)

It's possible, although I'm not sure how good the sound quality will be. RCA cables are only designed to carry small, non-amplified signals - putting an amplified signal down it to a speaker might casue some distortion to the sound.
Although, try it, what've you got to loose? :)

aye ,cheers , but heres a thought , ive seen speakers with rca connections. so maybe they are as good quality , well ill let you know.

The RCA cable isnt going to be thick enough. Youd be better off with cheap speaker cable in my opinion. Even better still, free the moths from your wallet and buy some propper oxeygen free speaker wire!
