i use these guys for all my bodywork and mechanical repairs: http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=31515.0 seen a few resprays they have done now for several mates of mine and they are very good quality and reasonably priced. Only fault is its a very small business so sometimes have a bit of a waiting list for resprays and it is a bugger to get thru on the phone! (i found the best way is call at 9am cos usually in the office placing parts orders etc!). Based about 10 mins from stansted airport so prob just about in range for you.
