Title: I've got my garage back.........yippee!
Post by: richandhazel on 07 November 2006, 06:44
I've managed to negotiate the hire of a garage (std 16' x 8') for £30/month for storing the cabriolet. Finally I can use my garage once again

I'm finishing some scheduled work on the mk4 (timing belt, water pump etc.) and then I'll tow it down there later today..............less than a mile away so nice and convenient

First job will be a damn good tidy out!

'real work' ...........talking of which, Hazel wasn't keen on the extra expenditure of £30/month. I managed to bribe her by pointing out that with the car out of the way I will have decent, clean and tidy workshop to use for getting jobs done around the house

its nice to have somewhere to store your car/s. Not having to worry about them rusting away during the rainy winter months

We pay £400 a month between 5 of us for this place at the moment:

You know, that's bordering on depressing me. It's £75/mth cheaper than my house rent, and about 50% larger!
Argh!

its not bad is it! its out in the middle of no where though which is why its pretty cheap and is about 11 miles from my house so isnt exactly convenient to get to.

that pic was taken when we first moved in, so there is a whole new line up of random T25's in there and other cars that my mate has bought.

It actually goes a bit further back behind where i took the picture, maybe another two cars could go on that left hand wall, maybe three at a push!

Jord, yea we do that or pretend we are on Gone in sixty seconds and write car names on the wall in ultraviolet ink
