Title: Insurance Woes! Help Needed!!!
Post by: SimonGTI8v on 06 November 2006, 13:04
Hi all,

I've just brought my first GTI, it's a '88 8v and it's great fun!

What's not so good is the insurance, I've just been quoted over £2000 by the insurance company I'm with on my Escort TDi

I'm 22, have been driving 4 years but have 9 points that I got 3 years ago.

Can anyone recommend a good insurance company that doesn't cost the earth????

I accepted mine with Lancaster insurance with no problems and some mods added, a very reasonable price as well, half what most were offering.

Hi all,

Just wanted to give a big thanks to Martinb for the cracking insurance deal he's just given me. I'm now paying less on a mk2 Golf than I am for a Ford Escort Diesel!

Will definantly be recommending HIC to everyone I know!

Cheers for the replies
Si
