Its in the sunday mirror this morning, Volkswagen are not sure whether to put it into production or not, I THINK YES THEY SHOULD!!!

all those in favour say GT....I
-
If they dont build it i will go to germeny and personally remove their testes!!!!!!!
-
I think VW need to do this, they have been under powering there cars for a good few years now, so lets see some VW power please!!!!
-
but 4x4 please!!! if not everyone will crash theirs!
-
yea i wouldnt like to try and drive that through the twisties at speed :undecided:

Na should be rear wheel drive!! the 1st golf that can drift!!!
-
Its a beauty isnt it! Think its the third thread in its honour already but I think they should deffo produce it. Shame its not the anniversary edition.
-
How much carbon fibre does £30k buy you, if its putting out that power, then I might have to sell my house cause it looks stunning. But they did produce the golf and rallye g60 and saw fit to only give us the corrado in g60 form.
-
eh the corrado came as a vr, 2.0 and 1.8 aswell as g60 no? it is possible to drift front drive cars too! find a big carpark and some trays, lock the back wheels onto the trays with handbrake and then jus try to keep it in a straight line!!! WARNING dont use the trays for very long or double them up as i learnt the hard way in my mini. Two 17 inch pirelli run-flats latter and 290 quid lighter in the pocket department
-
Am I the only one who thinks itÂ’s a bit Japanese?
-
Well I don't care what it looks like - VW needs to put some muscle into the GTI - I have an Anni on order and was costing how much it would be to turn my Anni into a carbon monster - all reversible of course
-
I was meaning the only g60 they gave us was the corrado, and my point is that vw have held back some of there best motors from us. Mk1 16v (ottienger), G60 Golf/Rallye, VR6 snycro?(no sure about this though).

I think he was talking about the fact that only the Corrado G60's were right hand drive, the other G60s (Golf and Rallye) were both left hand drive.
I'm steering clear of you if that's what you get up to in a car park.
Anyway, I think it really ought to be either RWD or 4WD, cos as was evident in some cars, any more than 200BHP though the front wheels just gets you torque steer, and problems getting the power down.
-
Well I love it! Esp like the 4 seats and harnesses!
If it comes as FWD only then drivers will just have to learn some restraint in certain condidtions!
-
I have not read all of this but this look the nuts!
-
Thats is a huge jap front bumper...
Not really liking it tbh, but that power...
-
That ting is sexy. 4x4 is a must please VW give the people what they want!
-
FWD would be ok but you'd have to learn to drive like a rally driver!
-
seen this the other day..very nice..
Dinx
-
VW if you build this car I will buy one (see my track record)
MAKE THE FECKING THING
-
does anyone know the full stats of the car???

check out

Those wheels are absolutely hideous. It certainly does look very 'jap', but you can't grumble at a production VW with 400 horsepower!
-
good mornin! they HAVE to make that car - although i know they wont because it'll outsell/power the equivelant audi!
nice thought tho
-
Is there a link for this? 400bhp is alot for a 2.0L turbo, considering most cars producing that sort of power are v8 turbo/supercharged
