hi yabbie,

It doesn't look too bad, do you do a lot of early morning starts, short journeys to work? If so then it's prob just condensation in breather pipe mixing with a little oil. You might find something similar under your engine oil cap too. If car runs fine if it a good rag when its warm every now and then.

no I'm not driving it at all its been sat around for about 1 and a half months i start it up every other day nothing in my coolant or my oil and oil cap i change them about two or three weeks ago. just really smokes i get to drive it tomorrow maybe it needs a good rag normally after 15 or 10 mins it stops smoking but it evaporates really quick so i guess thats good. Only other thing Ive noticed is when i start it up every other day it puffs out black smoke like on the very first rev and then its starts to steam out the exhaust but like i say maybe it just needs a good rag just been careful. Its great having found this site cause they are always people willing to help thanks

yeh, give it a good rag. hopefully after a long run there shouldn't be any smoke. keep an eye on water/oil levels. maybe even an italian tune up when warm, drive at 50mph in 2nd gear for 60 secs if you dare, should be around 5500 rpm?
