Title: Idle problems, any ideas?

I'm still having idle problems with my 91 Golf Gti 8v. When I start the engine it idles fine then if I rev it slightly the revs just drop out and it cuts out. Also when I rev it before the stall it'll kinda miss fire on the first 1000rpm and pick up after that, probably all the same problem.

I replaced the idel valve not long back and it buzzes with the ignition on. Also replaced the dizzy cap and arm.

Any ideas welcome as I need to get it MOT'd soon.

Hmmm well it idles fine when first started. It's not until I rev it that it drops. It was running fine the other week when I went up country.
