very nice!! , alot of money though , given what you could get for 12k it will need a serious enthusiast!
-
OMG i want it
-
Nice motor, shame it's not been used for it's intended purpose, come on a rallye ment to be driven!!!
-
Drool drool.. I would defo buy it!!
-
Wowza! Now that would deserve a RARE! titile on ebay!
-
Mmmm would be nice but could you bring yourself to rag the @rse off it???
When I was looking for my car I stumbled across a 1992 3door 16v mk2 in silver with 136miles on the clock!!! It had been tucked away in showrooms its whole life, the price on that was £12k a couple of years ago. Probably sat in a museum now going to waste.

You couldent exactly use them as daily drivers could you.
-
exactly, they are just collectors items for rich chaps
-
That upsets me, what an absoloute f**king waste  For that money no one is ever going to drive properly agian either  Whats the point?

That's just what I think too. There was a red one on Pistonheads the other day too and he wanted 13k I think, again, mint as, but what is the point as you wouldn't want to drive it would you.

Yeah but on the flip side of the coin it would also be a real shame if cars like this no longer existed.
-
Indeed stu, but what purpose is it serving, other than making the current owner a bucket load of cash. Who ever buys it will polish it & stick it in a heated/dehumidified garage because he is scared of driving his mint rallye & that is where it'll stay for another 5 years. We'll then be having this same conversation again when it comes up for sale at 20k next time

True and a fair point, but from what myself and others have said that's why I'd never own a car like this because I'd want to drive and enjoy it and not just sit and polish it all the time.

Plus the vast majority of us could never afford it!
