My electric windows have decided to stop working on the drivers side of the car, both the front and the back, the other two on the passenger side work, so i am thinking i have a fuse problem, but i cant find any idea on my fise box cover to which one is for the windows, plus they all seem ok anyway.
Hope someone can help me!

Check the wires inside the rubber sleeve that goes between the A-pillar and the front door, then check the one between the B-pillar and the rear door.
The constant opening/closing of the doors can cause the wires in there to snap or lose their insulation and earth out. It's a known problem on the Golf/Jetta.
Depending on which wire has snapped, it can cause one window to fail, both windows on one side to fail, or all of them to fail.
If you find damaged wire(s), be sure to disconnect the battery (-) terminal before attempting to repair/rejoin them.

right my drivers side windows had now decided to stop working at all :(
It seems to be a loose connection on the switch as it decided to open on its own earlier today, then it shut, and then it opened fully again!!!! and will not shut, so i have placed the car in the garage for the night, what i need to know tho is how to remove the door panel so i can check the wiring etc!!!
Had anyone removed theirs and knows how to do it, it appears to me that u just pull it off, but i dont want to chance it without being sure!
Thanks in advance
