Title: To GTI or not.....

Hello, :smiley:

I currently own a Nissan 350z and I have just started to think about selling her on.  I have been offered a MK5 GTI from a mate which has almost everything on - Leather, 18" Monza's, CD Sat Nav, Cruise Control etc June 05 20,000 miles.  The thing is my mate imported her through a Broker direct from the factory and I am concerned about re-sale and warrenties etc.

He has offered it to me for approx £18k (good price :smiley: :smiley:) and I just wanted to get an idea if there are any potential hazards that I might be letting myself in for - and secondly is the MK5 GTI any good as I haven't even driven one yet???

Just looking for some general assistance, all responses welcome.

might be worth giving a dealer a call, to see if it would be a problem if you were to trade the Golf in when u decide to sell it. See what they say  :undecided:

Thanks Guys and Gals,

I spoke to a dealer and they didn't think that it was too much of an issue maybe 1-1.5k at worst however they did think that the Black car with BEIGE (!) leather was more of an issue and that would be the major sticking point!!

Mmmm not sure what to do!?? :huh:

if you like the car then go for it and buy it, worry about selling it on when you come to it
