I would just like to BRAG  about how my 115bhp Golf whipped my boyfriends 250-300bhp Rice burner!!!!
Oh yes the golf done me proud :smug: it went like a sh!t of a shovel (for once)
My boyfriends exuse was because the road was too bumpy and his car sits about 2inches of the floor with rock hard suspension so he was being thrown up in the air....
Just shows you horse power aint everything hehehehehehehe
Sugar = :smug:
I will not let him live it down now hahahahaha

-

-
^^^^^ hahahahahha

correct!

Yeah, the most powerful car I've ever driven was a 280bhp toyota soarer, it's been a few months since then but I honestly can't see it being any faster than the golf on twisties. The soarer was certainly no slouch either, it could handle - double wishbones all round and not that heavy either at 1.5tonnes - so that's saying something

Sorry, I read it and was going to put a reply saying that your boyfriend must drive like a girl but then I didn't as I thought the girlie members might gang up on me.
Big up for the 2.0 GTI ! woot woot !

yeah the silvia has a double wishbones and stuff, but yet again its not quite running properly right now, it missfires slightly when you turn the boost up to 0.7bar and floor it, turn it back to low which is 0.4bar and it runs fine, my boyfriend already just had the engine rebuilt as he booted it up hill the boost went silly and boosted up to 1.5bar sending him flying up the hill quicker than a bullet out of a gun and melted his piston

He was wondering if the engine is trying to detonate again?? or if his fuel pump is not pumping enough fuel in hence the missfire??? he wanted to get 555 injectors... anyone any ideas??
-
No idea what's up with it but tell him to get a VW
Well done for making him look a fool tho
-
he doesnt like vw's other than the old mk1 golf.. he says they are not quick enough (true i suppose) and a pain to work on (very true!!)
-
its true they arent very quick...but neithers a Jap thing if it keeps blowin engines
-
^^^ lol but it goes very quick till it goes bang lol
-
The old golfs are a piece of piss to work on. I think he is making excuses tbh.
-
thats what i was gonna say...my mk1 is mega easy compared to that bloody polo! round about the same age..but engine-wise..what a farce..
Dinx

na i was talking about my car mk4's are a pain in the ar5e!!
-
Ah, well even then they ain't too much work, going to be more simple than a bleeding jap engine, now they are a real pain in the spaz hole.

Eloquent.
At least for German cars you can get decent (enough) parts from GSF or Euro, with Jap things you're limited to main dealer (£Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£) or poor Blueprint parts.
