oak green. im 20 have 0 NCB but in a good postcode!

admiral just quoted me ?817 online so is this good?

It depends what cover and excess the policy has. I would guess that it is Third Party Fire and Theft. If it is with Admiral is it a 10 month policy? if so avoid it like the plague even though 12 month policies are more expensive it is the only way that the No Claims Bonus you earn will be able to be used if you go to another company next year. Be sure to ask whether there is any age related excess and what the total excess is on the policy. Other than that ?817 is pretty good with no No Claims Bonus. I am an inurance broker and we advertise in Performance VW, Golf, Volksworld etc and I don't think we could top that.

Is that right re 10 month policies re not being able to use the ncb with other insurers ?? Elephant just quoted me ?530 odd on a 10 month policy ??

well it's tpft but is 12months as i changed it from the 10month  as iv heard about it b4.
i was expecting it to be ridiculous!
?817 is as a lump sum what is it likely to be if i pay it over 12 months? in other words how much will it go up?

well ?817 is now ?919 tpft with me as the policy holder and mum and dad on it to make it cheaper. thats with a ?201.80 deposit and 10 payment of ?79.60 but im covered for 12 months with that it.

so this pretty good?

thats not bad really mate . most insurance companies say a 16v is group 15 ins . i have found admiral very good.

How old is the car? If 88 or before try classic car insurance. it would be limited mileage but you can easily swap dials or unplug speedo cable and get a VDO speedo to stick on!Im ?110/year
