Tescos is one of the best for young drivers with performance vehicles...I'm with Norwich union on my corrado, but that's on my dad's name...however tesco's insurance were ?2000 cheaper on insuring my evo 8 on my name (still ?3409 though :'()...but a lot better than anywhere else!

p.s. I'm 22

yeah the insurance is absolutely stupid on the 8FQ(probably because it's stupid to buy one at 22), but just doing the test drive made me buy it!

the corrado is bad enough for insurance!!!

JEZUS CHRIST!!!!!  I bought, insured, and taxed my 3.0 V6 SAAB (group18 insurance) for less than that, and that still hits 60 in under 7 seconds. getting old is so much more appealing now!

try Admiral.  They're quoting me (online) under 700 for a 16v parked in the street in central London, with no NCB  :o

Hello,

I was actually thinking about getting a tommi makinen evo 6 (or 6.5) but opted for a new one, (even though I'm getting rid of the evo 8 in april and getting an evo 8 mr ;D).

cheers,

Matt.

by the way, I'm in Nottingham ;)

The mr is the replacement for the 8 (it's the 8.5 same as the tme was the 6.5)...it's basically the same car except it has an aluminium roof as well as other lightweight bits, bilstein suspension, better mid and upper range torque, alcantara recaros and an improved active yaw control (do I sound like a tv advert ;D), it also has carbon fibre stuff.  I haven't driven the mr yet so I don't know what it's like, but I expect it won't be bad ;).

cheers,

Matt
