can ne one tell me what ampage a standard
alternator is on a 2litre 8v

need to get a more powerful one i think
cos got high powered battery but lights still keep dimmin when i
i put stereo on or when i hit the leccy window button

You want to be getting your original alternator voltage regulator checked out before splashing out on another one mate. The origional one should be fine unless your running lots of ICE on the car!!
