Title: Help needed - any suggestions ?????????

I have a mk3 gti, and just had a new electric window regulator fiited on nearside rear.
now when i open car the window goes down 4inches, and when i lock it it goes up.

Any suggestions??????

check you have the right regulator... you could of had the wrong one fitted.. "regulator" could be for a Cabriolet... I don know if the Golf Cabriolet has one, but i know that BMWs do when ya open the door the window drops and closes when ya close it "door".
