Hi,
My mk2 has plastic trim around the wheel arch, due to a mess up by some of the people how did some work, I had tyres that where slightly to big and started to push the trim off the arch.
I can't tell how I can get the trim back on, just pushing doesn't seem to have much effect, I guess I'm missing something here.
Can anyone give me some pointers on refitting the trim?
Cheers in advance.

I'm not sure what model yours is but on my 90 big bumper they are held on by pop rivets. you'll need to get right under and have a look up - you should then see the holes.
Good luck

Mine is done with pop rivets - you may find this thread of some use

I ran up a small bank of grass on a country road and successfully ripped off my RHF wheel arch trim. Here's a pic to show you the rivets that were left behind....

I'd think if your arch has been pulled off one of them it'll be difficult/impossible to 'push' it back on. You may need to get the old rivet(s) out and pop some new one's on.

I had trouble getting the old rivets out, so a couple of drill bits later I decided to use a bradawl (on the old rivets) and some self tapping screws. It's still on, so I guess it works!
