ive always found admiral/elephant to be good for youngers drivers..
we have a member "martinb" who works for hic who could possibly do you a quote..
and a list of insurers in the "good guys" section..
think you may be able to get classic insurance on you cab? that could have a limited mileage on it thou..
speak to martin, he'll be the most helpful..

Dinx

Martinb got me a good deal on my Rallye but you can also try Brentacre on 01792 650933 who insure my cab. The problem there I reckon is your missus on a provisional.

Hi mate,

Dunno if you have already sorted this. Is the car a gti? if its not i may be able to help you but if it is i think you might struggle to get anything reasonable due to your GF's licence.

unfortunatly our classic policies require a full uk licence fir at least a year.

Di, Gibby (or Alphonso if u prefer ) - Cheers for the recommendation

Im paying £250 on Norwich Union classic car insurance. Im 25, Mk1 convertible GTi, 84-reg. Insured for 4,000 miles and £1800 value.

Not sure about your girlfriend.

Call A-plan insurance, ruislip, middx. They recommended Norwich Union.
