Title: Thieving C*NTS
Post by: spankyVR6 on 23 October 2006, 09:20
Came out to my VR6 on saturday morning, as soon I saw it I thought 'that ain't right'. As I got closer I could see thet some point on friday night some thieving little C*NT had knicked the top part of my side skirt/sill trim ! I was f*cked right off, then went round the other side and that one had gone too , but thankfully nothing else was touched (including no fingerprints). So the thieving C*NT in question obviously knew how to take them off, so I reckon 'he/she' either stole them to order or has a MK3 that needs these parts. Not happy as I have to fork out for tax, MOT and insurance next month, aswell as having to source these parts to replace!!!!!

Usually its alloys they go for but since hearing this I better No More Nails my Trim on or better yet put razor wire under neath the skirts so if they try they will rip their fingers off!

Harsh man sorry to hear of your bad news just be sure to keep a look out for any Golf now driving round with a new kit!

I must agree but thieving c*nts dosent describe them properly....Why can't we follow the arab idea and chop the thief's hand's off until they learn to leave alone....I know these side trim's are expensive as I have just relaced one of mine for about £22

Cheers for the replies guys. I've got a shiney, seven iron next my door, just waiting for anybody that decides they want a free splitter, bit of trim etc.
I just spoke to my insurance company about my renewel, and managed to knock £55 off the price (+ got protected no claims into the deal for £520), so that saving will pay for the new trims (£21.07 each + VAT from VW). This time round I will be riveting the back cap on, which otherwise just snaps off and allows these little sh*ts to slide the trim off without the aid of any tools!
