Title: ISV not buzzing

Hi, my ISV is not buzzing with the ignition on. I can see the black connecter at the back and have read on here about swopping connections over but am unsure which connections these are to test it.

It's a 89 16v. and currently won't fire and when it does by putting my foot on the peddle but dies if I take my foot off.

you need to check the sensor on the side of the head below the dizzy, its the one with the green/red wire going to it. you can swap the wiring round as all 3 sensors are the same.

green/red - ISV
yellow/white - dash temp gauge
blue/white - ECU

Thanks for your reply. I'll have a look at that when I look into why my fuel pump has now stpped working as well.
