As you will know we have oredered a VW 2.0t 200 EOS for 'Dec delivery.
The Golf GT TDI will be going in part-ex and my R32 will be going in 'Feb  as I return to a 4x4 as my daily transport
This will leave us with no golfs here untill the aniversary arrives
Hence my question is this...
As no other forums seem have a VW EOS section could we start one here or have a MK5 / EOS section?
thoughts please...
-
Yep, let's have it. You're a special case.
-
yeah go for it - theyre a cracking looking car
-
I think the eos is a totally pointless exercise, not one person ive spoken to likes it, why on earth didnt they just bring out a vw golf convertible instead!!, cus the passat surely is the next logical sized car in vw's armory. Surely doc you can convince your missus to get something else if its a "hairdressers car" your looking for!
-
no! go find a passat forum for the eos!
just kidding. but doc i cant understand, u went to all that trouble to get the blue R32, then change it for a silver one, then as soon as u have that, u decide u wanna get rid of it.
is there not something u can settle on and say 'right i like this, im gona keep it for 5 years'
-
I think the eos is the best looking golf convertible ever. all the old ones seemed to always be based on older models than the tin tops of the time so this is the first up to date one with the obvious exception of the mk1.

So, I'm not the only sucker here for changing his car every 2 minutes then!!
-
im going looking at a anniversary this week lol
i think im up to my 15-16 car in about 13 years
-
nick35 lol
Marty = nice, a good mate of mine had one when it was new - nice car, infact very nice - you don't see many now
-
Strictly speaking you kind of have been driving a 4x4 ;) R32 4 Wheel Drive, although is the Haldex system any good from that respect?
-
LOL
Yes the haldex system is very good - it seems they have improved it over the years as our first car that was equiped with it seemed a little slow to react (01 V6 4 Motion) - with the R32 is seamless and does not "clunk" in and out
-
which 4x4 you goin back to?
-
Doc where do you live??
-
Range Rover
North West by Warrington, why fella?
