Title: MK5 Boot Dimensions
Post by: sallypoo on 22 October 2006, 12:30
Hi all

First post!  Took a GTi for a test drive yesterday, and we are considering putting in an order.  Just waiting for the dealer to call with his 'best deal'.

Before I put my name on the dotted line, I've got one question that I can't find an answer to in any of their brochures..... What are the dimensions of the boot in cms or mms?  We are looking at starting a family and in simple terms if we can't fit the pushchair in the boot we'll have to look at a different car

Thanks in advance.

Hello
I have just bought a 5 dr GTi as the missus is expecting. We have ordered a Jane 4 wheeler rebel pro i think( same model that does the 3 wheeler but folds up smaller/ lighter) and it fits in the boot without having to take the wheels off.
The Jane is one of the larger prams on the market
I bought the car first on the presumption that the amount of families with one, then a pram must fit

HA HA

A pram??  Try fitting 4 computers and a bunch of shopping bags in there. Not to mention a baby seat.

You will be horrified at how large that boot actually is. Especially if you take out the cover it gives you more height.

Good luck with the new born. When he/she arrives
