Hi all....
Just bought myself a Mk3 1.8 GL. All seems OK apart from this - on one front wheel (passengers side) there is about 3cm more clearance between the top of the type and the bodywork than on the other wheels (which are all the same). Is this likely to be a problem with the spring or shock? or something else? Also the car had an MOT last week and a broken wishbone/lower arm was changed, could this be anything to do with it?
Thanks for any help!

it could be any of those really. maybe the spring isn't seated properly.
take it back where the work was done and point it out to them. if they're ok they should sort it for you.

Wish I could... Thing is the the bloke I bought it off had the MOT done and even though it was only last week I'd be looking at a 150 mile round trip. D'oh!
