What a load of tosh!!!!!  VW need to address these issues or they will find customers moving onto different brands!

They've said that the rattling door cards from the sound pack plus are also a characteristic!!!!!

And the rear wiper that works on its own is a known issue along with the headlights that come on during a really sunny day and don't come on when it's real foggy!

At least they drive really well

Are you still banging on about those f@@@ing door cards?

You have been offered solutions now take one and quit MOANING - last time I checked this was forum for chat about the cars we love NOT a moanathon.

Fog is NOT night time and so what if they stay on - stop being lazzzzzy and turn them off!

Great attitude Mr 7 posts of real substance!?!?  i think i'd better quote you on each reply as you seem tp like to edit your posts!  I know of another like that, it becomes very dull!

If you'd like to carry on your insults then please pass me your mobile number so you can have a face-to-face.

I hope you're just a kid!  You're clearly not all that with communicating on public forums!!!  When you mention in one of your seven posts that you work for VW i'm not surprised.  with a lovely attitude like you have you're more than likely in customer service!  Either that or some wannabe apprentice mechanic bored of oil changes.....  still you make a stronger and stronger case for being a troll for another member, i'll get your addresses checked over....  But i think i'm right tough man......

If you actually owned a Golf Mk5 you may be aware of the issues that the car has, it's not a solid piece of grantite, the MK4 IMHO was built better  but wasn't all that to drive.....

i hope you enjoy your life, and maybe you should check out lax power or the tweenies.....

I am not wanting to take sides: OK.

But that's an appropriate reply.

Bottom line is: VW must produce nothing less than perfection, or we may be forced to consider SEAT, Skoda, or, if pushed the other way, Audi.

Please put away your handbags------ IMMEDIATELY

mines got a nice rattle to it, but it sounds like hydraulic tappets.

I presume these engines have them?

Yeah well I've got issues with my Mk5 GTI too - it drives too fast and I feel scared. Will VW pay for all my nice white boxer shorts that are now soiled permanently?   :embarassed:
