Right i know someone that has a mk2 digifant engine for sale, bottom line is the headgasket has blown but is ovawise in ok condition. Its gona be stripped anyway so i can use the bits on my 2e bottom end build.

What would you guys and gals offer him price wise??

yea 50 quid ish, the head gasket is something to haggle with.
