Hi all,
Does anyone know whether you can get a conversion kit for a MK1 Golf so you can fit MK2 Golf G60 disks and callipers? I have found a set of Brembo 4 pots for sale that fit a G60 and I could really do with some serious stopping power for my turbo conversion. Hopefully ill have a bit more luck with this question.

Hello mate, I saw something in one of the issues of the golf for converting mk1 brakes to 256mm. Can't find it for the life of me. Give me a couple days though and I'll find it. :)

Thanks m8 that would be great. If I don?t buy the 4 pots I will still use the original G60 breaks anyway so that info would still be very useful.

To convert the normal discs to 256mm you have to use audi carriers with 16V calipers.
The biggest hassle with a 280mm conversion is that the discs are 4mm wider and so you have to adapt the slider bolts by grinding 4mm off the bolt end.
