what's the opinion on jade green mk2's? quite a rare colour, never used to like it myself but looks kind of cool nowadays.

I think its looks nice... Anything unusual always looks better... Except bright pink maybe.

a bloke i work near had a jade green one for sale a couple months ago. I saw it all cleaned up the other day and it looked rather nice. :)

i think it is ok, prefer oak or capri tho if its got to be green. never seen a capri green gti tho. definately prefer black tho! ;)

look at the pic in jv's post mate. That one is jade green. Last months issue of the Golf had a jade green mk2 in it as well. ;D

I just like the usually blue,black,white kinda ones,did go through the phase of a wanting a purple car like!Plus i wanted it to be a renault gt turbo! :o :P

I was goin MAD for one!Even went to vineplace in bishop auckland to find one but got warned off by the guy who works there!Asked me loads of questions to find what i liked-he gave up in the end! ;D I'm too picky! ;D
Nearly went off the cabbie cos the first one i bought(was being driven home for me),the wishbone went! :o Cudn fcukin believe it,wanted to kill the guy but he was geet sorry and gutted,gave us me money back straight away when he cud hav just walked away-top bloke!It was from Redcar so if the guy is on this forum(know he had a veedubs sticker in the car),Hi!,pleased i didn' buy it cos look at me car now! ;D ;D

Ahh stop it your making me blush. lol. Glad you didn't buy a renault though. however everyone needs to own one once just so you can appreciate your VW. :)

Still think they r nipping cars but i got warned off them soo many times,too much work to do to them,engines keep blowing up,there was no way i was goin to get one after that!I think i'd still go purple like......! ;D Just to b different! ;D
Drove a couple of cars to know my golf is the best,even a lad at work commented on it they other day n i was like "yeah,its lush" After he nearly crashed into me of course!Got a bollokin,don't worry! ;D

I wouldn't say its a rare colour, when I was younger it was jade green or atlas grey for GTI's.

Don't see jade green alot anymore though. They seem to have all been repainted or gone by the wayside somewhere. I didn't really care fopr them when new compared to the Tornado red, Black, Atlas Grey and Helious blue cars. I do know though. :)

Yeah that is true, I suppose all those cars I remember before I could drive are long gone know, I think a poll would be good to see what the most popular colour or car is on here.
