Title: Mk2 Gti 8v and 16v performance figures

Dont want a long debate just the honest figures

so whats the performance of a...

8v 0-60 and its top speed
16v 0-60 and its top speed

oh and both models are a 3 door as apparently this affects it according to top gear magazine???

factory figures for the 16v are 139bhp, 0-60 in 7.9s & top speed of 125mph

those these are with a passenger and 1/2 tank of fuel

u can get it down to about 7.5 and top speed stays the same as they have the aerodynamics of a brick

mk2 16v has a top speed of 129mph  :)

had that new 8v of mine on the top road to work (3 mile straight) got 120mph on clock at 5800 rpm, felt like it still had a bit fookin suprised me as the early kjet mk2 (86) felt quicker to 80 but revved ou to early ratios feel a bit different in this mk2 (89) with pas, not as thashy but still as torquy!!!! excuse my spellin!!! LOL ;Dwhat are figures for a 89 digifant 8v???? 0-60 and tope end compared with a bare to the bone early mk2??? bothe 3 door with no luxuries any one??? ???
