Title: Hi all.
Post by: DanT on 16 October 2006, 12:56
Hi its taken a while to join, we've only had a MKIII gti 8v gti in BRG for some 5 years and its been a brilliant car too good to update. Think it will be with us for some time to come too.

We've had VW's for years but the golf was and is the only car we've had. Our relationship with VW's started in 1990 when we got a nice bay window camper for touring europe in. We still have vans and our latest flavour is a T4 syncro caravelle.

I've had a look round today and it certainly seems you have a good site here with a good mix of interests and people.

Cheers for letting me in to play

Thanks for the welcome.

Yes you are quite right and its been mentioned once or twice. It's completely standard and maybe when I have finished(started first) playing with the syncro I might sneak a few changes in. My wife said she didn't want all that power but likes the look of the gti, infact her friends take the p**s that she has a gti and drives it slowly.

Hi thanks again for replies. Had to bunk off after me first day here due to some lovely food poisoning.  Will get up to speed on here in the next few weeks or so.
