About to order a 3dr Manual in Steel Grey, 18"'s, Xenons and Ipod dock. I tested a Focus ST (Rattled too much) and a 197 Clio (Great car, no torque and too boy racer for my age). I wasn't keen on the Golf (UNTIL I DROVE IT!). Wow may be a tad boring to look at but what a great drive. I was worried it would feel to slow but I was very pleasantly surprised. Throttle response was electric and sooo much better put together than the ST.
I've had some quick cars in my time including an E46 M3 but it's almost like these cars are too fast to enjoy on our roads. Hot hatches really are more fun these days in my opinion!!!
Having said that, has anyone chipped theirs so far. The Morego looks like a great option. What think??

Hi waddler, had work done on mine at morego and been very impressed. Now running morego 250, power grip and AP 4pots. Didn't need the brakes just about got away with the standard set up but had a couple of close calls at silly speeds. If you like the standard car you'll love it when remapped. The miltek is spot on to. Well worth the money.
Pulls a lot harder to red line and its a lot smoother to drive around town. Have you thought about the DSG? I wasn't sure about it when got mine and it was about a month before I wormed to it. Wouldn't be with out it now and would defiantly recommend it.
How did you find the Clio?
