Title: Now my window regulator's playing up!

It appears that my driver window had the common fault as most others.  The only problem is that the repairer may have cross wired the unit because when I press down with light pressure the window doesn't open.  However if I press hard then the window goes down until fully open.  When the window's half open and I press up with light pressure the window actually goes down. 

Looks like there's a gremlin in there somewhere.

Sounds like the switch is knackered. There's only one plug to the switch unit and it only goes on one way.

Mine does exactly the same. I've learnt to live with it, Vacom doesn't throw any codes up
