Title: MK3 git 8V relay and misfirng problem

hey i told of my problem before about my gti misfiring when it got hot and only when hot, and i was told to replace relays and taht teh car shouldnt evemn run without them, i took them out and the car ran as normal, im having the cambelt and etnsioners done soon as it has reached 50K, could the problem me rtiming or could it be the automatic choke because when u start the car form cold the revs are about 9000 an dthen drop to about 5-6 when engine warm. pleae help me as this is teh only car i have at teh moment.

the car won't have a choke, check the coolant temp sensor.

well im having throttle body cleaned out and idle sensor cleaned out well c how that goes, wot do u think and where is that temp sensor

ive just cleaned out the throttle body and the idler thng infront of it, am i correct in saying the throttle body is the one with the big air filter pipe going into it( and it has butterfly clip inside it) sorry im not an expert, plez get back to me ...oh getting to the point it hasnt cured the problem, so im wondering about every1 talkin about these relays, should i bother replacin them?
