Title: Suspension set up
Post by: ramjet on 10 October 2006, 23:04
Hi guys,

Wanted to know from everyone who has changed or upgraded their suspension system to either stock or aftermarket. What has been the best set up for MK 4 GTI 1.8 T.

Mine is a year 2000 and I have changed recently to Bilsteins but I feel the ride wallowy and bounces too much.I think its been messed up.

Your kind assistance much appreciated.

Cheers

So, have you just changed the shocks & left the standard springs, then??

You may need to get the steering geometry set up again because if you lower your car this will also change.

Costs about 20-25 quid at a garage.
