Hi there
I'm new to this forum and posted in the for sale section.
The trouble is, I can't read my personal messages - it just comes up with 'an error occured' when i try to read them!?! What's going on?!
Anyone know how I can fix it? Do I have to wait a certain amount of time after registering until I can access them or is the system just rejecting me?!
Many thanks

Would never want to muzzle you Fielder! Might yank yer chain now and again!
Air-cooled - yes good knowledge of those around here too!
I have a fondness for them and actually had one as a company car once!
1302S in 1976!
Keep saying I'm gonna have a buggy one day! :embarassed:
-
yeah, me too.
So anyway, tell us a little about ya, where are you based? how old are you? how long you been into Vdubs?
Theres a club meet on sat 28th/sun 29th of this month in leicester. If its not too far from you then get up there and meet a few of us in person....
Actually, 2nd thoughts, that may not be such a smart idea, would putyou off for life!

lens first ever company car, however, was a little more economical to run.

How come it's over two days?
As for me...well, I'm in Lincs, just outside of Peterborough and I've had the beetle for 6 years. I've always loved vw's (for as long as I can remember!) and had a couple of mk2's.
Where are you guys based? Are you all over the UK or are you mainly mids based if you're having a meet in Leicester??

eek @ night out in Leicester (no offence to anyone who lives there!). I just moved out of Leicestershire so I know what the night life's like there lol
-
Was chosen coz its central and we have one local for a guide.
So give us some recommendations then!
Maybe starting out in the Queens Road area.
-
Didn't do the 'pub & club' scene much in Leicester as it's full of under aged eejits lol (in my opinion). I used to go for dinner there quite a lot though. The Terrace is ok but you'll probably end up in Creation at some point in the evening, in which case...have fun! lol
-
hey welcome
you only joined this mornin and there is 3 pages already lol
Same thing happens everytime a girl joins  were not desperate....
hello  still no pics then
-
Not much lol
You didnt say if you were comin along though! would be good to get a bit of aircooled dub in the after show pictures!
We are a fairly random spread of people, I live in Guernsey at the minute which makes gettin to shows interesting, but you have to find a way. Unfortunately my mk3 wont be making an apparance coz the ferry times are rubbish but It'l be at a couple of shows next year, hopefully lower than ever aswell!
-
i dont know where i live......they have no windows in this place.....just the voices........the voices that wont leave me alone!!!
What do they come to me to die???
Why do they come to me to die??????!!!!????
*Rocks gently*

Maybe next time  I can't quite face Leicester yet lol
I'll be at more shows next year (I do a few aircooled shows every year) as I'm a sunshine baby and tend to hibernate in the winter :)
If Guernsey's as lovely as Jersey, then you're a lucky fella!
-
BugJam then????
Quite a few of us go to that!
Well the Sunday meet is gonna be down Countesthorpe way........
-
Guernsey's lovely actually. Speed limit sucks but its a pretty place to live. I wont brag too much about the beautiful views of the sun rising over the english channel i have from my flat :smug:
Bugjam does sound like a good idea for next year. im undecided for that one or the gti spring fest, but E38 is the one for sure. Check out the shows and events section for pics and write ups of them all. We arnt all complete pissheads, honnest!
-
WTF? You dont drink Phil??????
Think everybody got either drunk or stoned at E38!
Or slept through half of it! :embarassed:

Not been to Guernsey but I have been to Jersey and fell in love with the slow pace of life...so if it's anything like that....I'm green with envy!!
