Title: Emissions Workshop warning

Hi, I was driving to work yesterday morning when the warning buzzer sounded and the message "Emissions Workshop" came up.   :huh:  Before I could decide whether to pull over and panic or not, it went off again.  I phoned the VW garage where I get it serviced who said if there was a problem the warning should stay on but to bring it in if it happened again.  Has anyone else had this happen?  Should I be saving up for a hefty bill?  :undecided:  The car is 6 years old but only done 38K miles.  Thanks!

I've not heard of that one before but wouldn't worry too much if its gone away now. May have been a spurious indication.
