Its a bit different , well VERYVERY fifferent , but what do people think ? its on egay for a fiver . its would be for my mk1
-
hmmm would either work or look sh!te! there was a mk1 "ice" car in golf+ a while back with a custom dash similar to the new mini dash. looked awful! mind you for a fiver, do it! if it looks sh!te throw it away and stick the mk1 back in?!
-
ah well it sold for 31 quid, not worth riskin it for that , tho there is an audi A6 dash goin for 1p , might be worth a go
-
DO IT!!
-
stu..if they are going for cheap, why not buy it, see if it looks ok, if not, bang it back on ebay?!

got to be worth a go! try it and see
-
Hm, aren't most newer dashboards/clocks ecu controlled as opposed to mechanical or direct electrical?
Thus, if that's true, wouldn't be nigh-on impossible to get it to work with the mk1's electrics?
-
plus an A6 dash would need so much cutting to get it narrow enough it would look crap. waaaaay too big for a mk1!
-
put a mk2 dash in a mk1.
you need a retro dash tbh. modern dash's in old cars look stupid
-
see what your sayin bluefox but everythin can be done with a little work ,
just lookin for differen , TT dash or mk4 conversion i think
-
