Title: What colours yours?

Ive been looking at this website for all of a week,and on the road, Am i the only one that owns a laser Blue Pearlesent Gti here??
Ive never seen any other one b4 and from what i can see , no one else has!, according to the dealer, laser blue pearlesent is no longer made for the gti, so is now somewhat of a rareity.(http://)

hello,

mines is a blue graphite, don't see much of them either.

i mostly see red and black ones, not seen blue pearlesent yet!!

my mum is after a bright blue metallic golf.. do they not do one? shes after the 170bhp gt tdi as she has a black gttdi as a work car now n again and shes in love, but wants a metallic paint, not black or silver.... (sorry for hijack

when i purchased my car, i was offered the choice between laser blue and diamond black for cars that were gona be available pretty soonish. the black was the most tempting cos i wanted the door handles to match the paint. its also the most popular. thing is i singled out laser blue without even looking at it, just thinking its just one of those girly colours.

oh well, i wasnt to know it was gona be deleted.

and if you check out this link http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/new_cars/golf/colour_picker and find laser blue, it really doesnt look desirable. but i know in real life on a GTI it is.

Nice to see someone else has a lazer blue gti too, its now longer available for a gti so u could call it a limited edition my friend! :wink:

i think candy white is rare. only ever seen one. at one point it was available on any golf, then it was only a GTI colour, but now i duno if its available anymore.

candy white is by far the best colour, makes the car look truely GTI. They´re all beasts and i love them wat a fookin improvement over the mk 4. I believe the mk5 is the true succesor to the superb mk 2, shame it took so bloody long. I think thats the problem most mk2 owners have with the mk 5 GTI. Pure unadulterated jealousy, well i bloody am!!!

The white looks good when clean and polished.  The same is true of the black.  And they are head-turners :cool:  I had a black IS200 a few years ago and it always looked stunning when polished up.  Unfortunately, black seems to show up every little piece of dirt, grime and especially small chips.   Maybe it's me, but I think reflex silver blends in a bit more, still looks great, but also looks better when dirty  :laugh:

Nice silver GTI, hope you're enjoying it  :smiley:. Hear hear for the white! It  looks awesome. But all MK5 GTIs do! I've yet to see a white MK5 GTI down here in torquay, only spotted red, blue and black. I'll be gutted if i spot a white one before i get mine! Which should be springtime....

I've just found out mine is Laser Blue after looking at the touch up stick
I have never seen another one the same colour :smiley: :smiley:

pando, well mate that makes 3 of us with laser blue, vw no longer do it in laser blue, its now shadow blue which isnt as nice imho.i think white is mint,but rare, but i think the rarest thing is being able to spot another mk 5 gti!, i live in southampton and have only seen 1 red gti on the road!!!! in 2 weeks in owning my gti.

Loads of GTI's up here in Aberdeen

Mostly greys and blacks with the occasional red one. One of the local DJ's has a white one

Lovin it so far even after coming from some top range beemers :wink: :wink:
